JellyCo exists to turn a coastal nuisance into a national treasure
Years of research evolved into a breakthrough: jellyfish collagen is naturally clean, environmentally kind, and scientifically backed. We realized most consumers did not want to eat whole jellyfish to get this collagen, so we turned it into a collagen peptide powder that could be used in a multitude of products. Our signature ingredient, SimplySEA™, gives consumers a chance to experience the power of jellyfish collagen for the very first time in simple, non-intimidating applications, like cosmetics and foods.
The real story is what it does off the shelf. Along Georgia’s coast, fishermen sat idle while jellyfish swarmed the shore. The sea was full. The work wasn’t. Most of America’s seafood was being shipped in from abroad. Docks emptied, livelihoods disappeared, and a way of life began to fade.
