Luis Martinez is the Vice President of Research & Development at Mom’s Meals, a PurFoods Company, where he leads R&D for one of the nation’s leading providers of medically tailored meals. With more than 20 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, Luis brings deep expertise in building high-performing organizations, developing consumer-centric product platforms, and driving operational excellence across diverse manufacturing environments.
He has also been actively serving in the Florida IFT board for 12 years and has led the development and growth of the FL IFT Suppliers Night Expo over the last 10 years, transforming it, with the support from his team, on the fastest growing SN Expo in the US.
He holds a M.S. degree in Foods Science with a minor in Agribusiness Management and a B.S. degree in Food Science from the University of Florida and a B.S. degree in Food Engineering from ESPOL in Guayaquil, Ecuador.
Luis is a proven transformational leader that specializes in delivering accelerated growth through proactive innovations and culinary creations, driving increased revenue and profit margins across categories.
